It has to be said that the quality of discussion can vary considerably!  Even so, the big advantage of the lists is that you will probably find out about most things on the UK oval race scene far earlier than you will from other sources.

This group is for discussion of UK short track oval racing formulae.  It was established by Paul Walker and is unmoderated.  Like all Newsgroups it does tend to attract some postings that have little, if anything, to do with intended topic.  Often the source for important news such meeting cancellations, results and the launch of new web-sites and major updates of others.

There are a number of sites with integral chatrooms, including Rolling Start!  It can be a bit hit and miss and you never know who you might find there.  If you are new to chatrooms be careful as you can never be sure who you might be talking to!  If you find the chatrooms are empty you can stay in the room until someone arrives - go surfing to pass the time.  Some folk also announce their intention to go to a chatroom in a discussion group. 

The busiest chatroom is to be found on Gary's Oval Racing  You will be able to chat most evenings sometime between 10pm and 1am.  Very entertaining!
