I was on my way to Napier for a big Superstock meeting, only to find out that they ran the night before! (Ed's note: was it wise to admit to that?!)
So a quick hangar right saw me on my way to Wellington for day2 of the Anzac Weekend.
Apparently, yesterday's session drew only a small crowd (perhaps everyone was in Napier?), but Wellington's final event of the season drew in a huge crowd of about 5,000 spectators. Virtually every track in New Zealand was represented in some way or other, with drivers converging from afar afield as Auckland and Dunedin. the ambulance crews were on high alert, as the feature of the evening was the Demolition Derby, which attracted a mammoth field including "Chloe", all the way from Leeds, West Yorkshire!
