Heat 1
Unfortunately a stuck throttle and a car that was screaming it's nuts off, meant that #64p
Smith only made it as far as the pit chute, as Kev was forced to watch from the terraces
as #7p Shane Penn stormed round for an impressive victory ahead of #77p Wayne Norris.

Heat 2
#64p Smith was on the front row alongside #12p Peter Locke, and as #12p Locke tried to
make the break, #64p Smith slotted into 4th behind the fast moving #58p Bengston and #7p
Penn. #12p Locke fell by the wayside half way through, allowing #64p Smith to move up to
3rd, before succumbing late on to #57p Tarrant

Heat 3
#64p Smith took an early spin and ended up at the back of the pack, just in front of the
race leaders. 15 x laps later, and #64p Smith was looking mighty quick, and still on the
lead lap as he refused to give way to the awesome #7p Penn, who made it 3 out of 3, and
looked to be in a class of his own.
