THE ISSUE
The Bradford Development Plan does not include any proposals to protect Odsal as an established venue for motorsport. An objection to the plan in attempt to redress this position has been made and the public inquiry to consider the matter is on 2 July 2003. If the objection leads to a change in the plan this will not in itself lead to the reopening of the stadium for motorsport - this will be determined by the leaseholders, Bradford Bulls - but it would help to encourage it!

THE PUBLIC LOCAL INQUIRY

The Public Local Inquiry has been running over many weeks and the session about Odsal Stadium is programmed for Wednesday 2 July. It is chaired by an independant government appointed Inspector.
