This gallery features pictures of Hot Rods taken over the period 1973 and 1980 and all come from the GM Photo collection.

One particular point of interest is that the picture showing George Barrie leaving the track at Ipswich is actually the ex-George Polley World Final winning car in its final form. If you have wondered what happened to Polley's mid-1980s Anglia, this too ended its days in Scotland. Again it arrived in the hands of George Barrie before ending its days at through at fencepost at Nitten with Mark Docherty at the wheel!
