2L Hot Rods - National Super Rods - Superstox - Bangers
Bovingdon - Sunday 25 July

Keith reports from Bovingdon:

"I got really brave and visited Bovingdon. My first visit in the Spedeworth
era - indeed the last time I was there Barry Lee won the final!!!

It is a really great little track. Very baisic facilities but a brilliant
race track.

On duty were

National Super Rods - Two heat wins for Gary Farrington but in the final Hoss Parry
really got stuck into it with some great outside passing.

2 Litre Hot Rods - The final was won by Mark Paffey from a queue of Kews
Jason ahead of Chris followed by Mark Cooper & Paul Wright

Superstox - Good racing all afternoon. In the final Mark Kelman delivered a
penultimate lap lunge to Steve Jackson only to have Jackson return the
favour on the very last bend to take the win.

Rookie Bangers - No idea who won these - they were all new to except Cecil
driving a Bluebird with a very dodgy back wheel that just went sideways all
the time. The racing was great but they seem to be running different rules
to what I am used to at Arlington - a lot of quite heavy contact.
